William Adolphe Bouguereau

William Adolphe Bouguereaum, born in 1825 and died in 1905, was a French academic painter. He was from a family selling wine and olive oil. He studied painting in the academic style in the studio of Francois-Edouard Picot. In 1875, he reached Life Member of the Academy. He produced more than seven hundred finished works.
