Renoir

Renoir born in 1841 was a French artist. He was born in Limoges, Haute-Vienne, France. He was from working class. During his childhood, he was fascinated by the china and he started to paint. Looking at his paintings, you can find that the paintings are always optimistic and beautiful. He often showed feminine sensuality in the paintings. The paintings show us forgotten worlds with sparking color and light. Renoir insisted that the art was pretty. Claude Monet, Alfred Sisley and Frederic Bazille were his friends. His paintings become more linear and classical after his visit to Italy in 1881. He and Monet also sketched on the Seine in 1869, and his colors of paintings become lighter.
