Waterhouse painted this Destiny 1900 oil painting for the Artists' War Fund in support of the British troops. The girl in the painting is drinking a libation to the departing heroes. She looks quite beautiful. The girl shows sympathy to the heroes. You can hang this excellent painting on the wall.
